Maya Cacao visitors learn about the Maya history of chocolate, taste luscious cacao beans from colorful pods, grind nature’s treasure with stone tools, and enjoy the distinctive flavor of a healthy dark chocolate drink, enjoyed by only the most elite Mayas when their civilization was young!

During the 60 minute workshop guests will not only learn about Maya chocolate, participate in hands-on chocolate making, but will also enjoy a traditional chocolate drink and free chocolate samples with a contribution of $50 USD per adult or $17.50 for children (12 years and under). Children under 2 years old are free.
